1. Website Purpose

MMA Gyms NJ is an independent New Jersey combat-sports platform for gyms, fighters, events, Community organizations, Store products, training topics, and educational guides. It helps visitors discover businesses and athletes, browse available listing and event information, reach official Community resources, and review general informational content.

2. No Endorsement or Verification

Listings, fighter profiles, ratings, descriptions, business details, event details, photos, hours, contact information, training gear content, product references, blog posts, guides, external links, and other content on MMA Gyms NJ are provided for general informational purposes only. Directory inclusion alone does not mean MMA Gyms NJ endorses, certifies, manages, represents, or guarantees any gym, fighter, coach, instructor, owner, employee, manager, promoter, venue, program, service, product, manufacturer, retailer, ticket platform, or business listed or referenced on the website.

This general informational disclaimer does not apply to products expressly identified as official merchandise sold directly by MMA Gyms NJ. Direct merchandise orders are governed by these Terms, the applicable product page, our Shipping Policy, and our Returns & Refunds Policy.

3. Accuracy of Listings and Content

Listing information and other content may be submitted, imported, synchronized, edited, or updated by gym owners, fighters, managers, official event sources, users, service providers, or other third parties. While we may review certain submissions or update requests, MMA Gyms NJ does not guarantee that any listing, fighter profile, event page, Community link, blog post, guide, Store page, or informational content is complete, current, accurate, or error-free. Business, athlete, event, and product information may change at any time without notice.

4. User Responsibility

You are responsible for independently verifying any information that is important to you before relying on it. This includes, but is not limited to, hours, class schedules, pricing, policies, waivers, instructor credentials, training conditions, event dates, ticket terms, venue details, equipment, services, product specifications, sizing, availability, and vendor terms. Users should contact businesses, event organizers, venues, manufacturers, retailers, or sellers directly before visiting, registering, purchasing, or participating in any activity.

5. Assumption of Risk

Martial arts, combat sports, strength training, sparring, fitness classes, and related activities involve inherent physical risks, including the risk of serious injury. By using this website, you understand and agree that any decision to visit, contact, evaluate, purchase from, attend, or train with any listed or referenced business, event, product, or service is made at your own discretion and risk. MMA Gyms NJ is not responsible for injuries, losses, damages, disputes, or claims arising from participation in activities or transactions involving third parties.

6. Third-Party Businesses and Links

MMA Gyms NJ may display links to third-party websites, maps, social profiles, brand pages, retailer pages, affiliate offers, event organizers, ticketing platforms, and other services. These businesses and services are operated independently from MMA Gyms NJ. We are not responsible for the content, practices, availability, pricing, products, services, policies, or actions of third-party businesses or websites.

Features using Google Maps Platform or Google Places are also subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Affiliate Links and Commerce

Some product links on MMA Gyms NJ direct to third-party merchants or affiliate partners. MMA Gyms NJ may earn commissions from qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. Official MMA Gyms NJ merchandise follows its own purchase flow. Affiliate compensation applies only where an actual relationship exists. Not every external link is an affiliate link. Paid or sponsored content is identified where applicable; an inquiry alone does not establish a partnership. A link alone does not establish a commission arrangement. External sellers apply their own transaction terms. As an Amazon Associate, MMA Gyms NJ earns from qualifying purchases. Inclusion does not necessarily constitute endorsement.

8. Direct Merchandise Orders

MMA Gyms NJ is the customer-facing seller for merchandise expressly offered through its direct checkout. Prices, available variants, shipping charges, and taxes are displayed before payment. An order is accepted only after payment is successfully confirmed. If a selected variant becomes unavailable, a listing contains a material error, or fulfillment is not reasonably possible, we may reject or cancel the affected item and refund any amount collected for it.

9. Made-to-order Products and Customer Selections

Direct apparel is produced after payment confirmation. Production may begin shortly after payment, so an order may not be cancellable or changeable once production begins. Customers are responsible for reviewing the product, size, color, quantity, and delivery address before submitting an order. Remedies for a product or variant supplied incorrectly are described in the Returns & Refunds Policy.

10. Product Appearance and Production Tolerances

Display settings, garment materials, print processes, embroidery, and made-to-order manufacturing can cause minor differences in color, texture, placement, stitch appearance, or measurement. Product pages identify applicable fit guidance and production tolerances. These tolerances do not excuse a materially damaged, incorrect, incomplete, crooked, or unreadable item, which may be reported under the Returns & Refunds Policy.

11. Third-party Fulfillment, Shipping, and Preorders

MMA Gyms NJ uses third-party payment, production, fulfillment, email, and carrier services. Use of those providers does not eliminate rights or remedies customers have against MMA Gyms NJ under applicable law. Products may ship from different facilities in separate packages. Production and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. If an order cannot ship within the promised period, we will provide the notice and cancellation or refund rights required by law.

A product is a preorder only when clearly labeled. Its estimated ship window, charging terms, and delay procedures will be disclosed before payment. Additional details appear in the Shipping Policy.

12. Merchandise Returns and Refunds

Made-to-order products are not returnable solely for a customer-selected size or color mistake or change of mind after production begins. Damaged, defective, materially misprinted, or incorrectly fulfilled products remain eligible for review. The reporting window, evidence requirements, remedies, refund timing, and nonwaivable consumer-rights protections are stated in the Returns & Refunds Policy.

13. Update Requests, Submissions, and Edits

If you submit a gym, request an update, suggest an edit, upload content, report event corrections, or otherwise provide information to MMA Gyms NJ, you represent that you have the right to provide that information and that it is not knowingly false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful. We may review, reject, edit, remove, or decline submissions and update requests at our discretion.

Accounts and authorized management

Public browsing does not require an account. Accounts support Gym Owners/Staff, invited Fighter Partners and administrators; there are no general consumer or fan accounts, comments, followers, direct messages or public social feed. Creating or verifying an account does not itself grant access to manage a gym or fighter.

Protect your credentials, do not share or transfer account access, and report suspected unauthorized use to hello@mmagymsnj.com. A gym owner or staff member must have authority to act for the gym; a fighter or representative must have authority to act for that fighter. Do not impersonate others, make fraudulent ownership claims, submit malicious links, infringe rights or misuse the service. We may suspend or revoke management access and remove content when necessary to investigate abuse, rights concerns or loss of authority.

Gym claims and management access

Claim This Gym requires a signed-in account with a verified email. Truthfully describe your relationship to the gym and your authority to manage its listing. Claims are reviewed manually; we may request evidence, and approval is not automatic. Email verification establishes control of an email address, not legal ownership of a business.

An approved management grant allows only authorized listing edits, including business details, hours, schedules, a main photo and up to eight gallery photos. It does not transfer ownership of directory research or third-party information. We may review disputed claims, restrict edits or revoke a grant when authority changes or a claim is misleading. Use Listing Support for corrections or disputes.

Fighter Partners

Fighter Partner management is curated and invite-only, with no public Fighter registration. An accepted invitation provides an explicit management grant for approved portions of the relevant profile, such as biography, profile photo, up to 30 gallery photos, videos, social links, business preferences and up to eight Shop links. Career facts and other platform-controlled fields may remain locked; submit corrections for review.

An invitation or management grant does not create employment, athlete representation or an agency relationship. Do not transfer or share access. Management access may be revoked independently of the underlying account or public Fighter Profile.

Submitted media and permission

These rules apply to submitted photos, profile images, captions, biographies, videos and links, schedules, gym and Fighter information, Shop links and other profile content. Platform-curated information remains distinct from those submissions. You retain ownership of your submitted content. You represent that you own it or have sufficient permission to submit it and allow its display, including applicable image and likeness permissions. A rights-attestation checkbox does not establish that a use is lawful.

You grant MMA Gyms NJ a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce as technically necessary, resize, process, display and distribute submitted content through the service to operate and promote the relevant listing or profile and the MMA Gyms NJ platform. Necessary service providers may process it for those purposes. This is not an ownership transfer or permission for unrelated advertising. Revoking a management grant does not automatically delete a public profile or its content. Contact us to request removal; we may retain necessary records and backups for operational, dispute or legal purposes, and third-party caches may take time to update.

Fighter Partner Content Terms

Fighter Partner management is curated and invite-only. You must be authorized to act for the fighter and must not share or transfer access. An accepted invitation grants only approved profile management, such as biography, profile photo, gallery photos, videos, social links, business preferences and Shop links. Career facts and other verified or platform-controlled fields remain controlled by MMA Gyms NJ; submit corrections for review. An invitation or grant does not create employment, athlete representation or an agency relationship.

You remain responsible for content and links you submit. You must own the content or have sufficient rights and permission to submit it and allow its display, including applicable image and likeness permissions. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, knowingly false, misleading or defamatory content, impersonate others, or provide malicious links. Giving a source or photo credit does not replace permission from the rights holder; accepting these terms does not make unauthorized third-party media lawful.

You retain ownership of your submitted content. You grant MMA Gyms NJ a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce as technically necessary, resize, process, display and distribute submitted content through the service to operate and promote the relevant listing or profile and the MMA Gyms NJ platform. Necessary service providers may process it for those purposes. This is not an ownership transfer or permission for unrelated advertising.

You are responsible for supplied links and destinations, and must control or be authorized to provide any merchandise or commercial destination you submit. Existing security validation, review and publication approval still apply. Acceptance does not approve a destination, guarantee publication or broaden the fields you may edit.

We may review, reject, correct, remove or restrict content, suspend publication or revoke management access for inaccurate information, unauthorized media, malicious links, rights complaints, fraudulent claims or abuse. We do not promise to pre-screen every submission. Revoking access does not automatically delete an account, public profile or listing, or its content. Contact us to request correction or removal; necessary records and backups may be retained for operational, dispute or legal purposes, and third-party caches may take time to update.

Copyright, impersonation and rights reports follow the copyright reporting procedure on this Terms page. Send copyright complaints or supporting information about a mistaken removal to copyright@mmagymsnj.com. The existing disclosure that U.S. Copyright Office DMCA Designated Agent registration is pending remains applicable.

Acceptance applies to the signed-in account and the specific profile or listing being managed. It does not grant management access or change publication or discovery. A different account or entity needs its own acceptance. Materially revised Content Terms require a new explicit acceptance; prior acceptance history is retained. Cosmetic wording or layout changes alone do not require acceptance again.

Gym Owner Content Terms

You must be authorized to act for this gym as an owner, manager, staff member or authorized representative, and must not share or transfer account access. An active grant permits only authorized listing edits, including business details, descriptions, links, hours, schedules, a main photo and gallery photos. It does not transfer ownership of directory research or third-party information, or permit changes to verified or platform-controlled fields, access, moderation, publication or Featured status. Public claims remain subject to truthful authority certification and manual Admin review; an Admin-issued invitation follows its existing separate access workflow.

Copyright, impersonation and rights reports

Send copyright complaints to copyright@mmagymsnj.com. Include your signature, identify the copyrighted work and the specific material or page URLs you want reviewed, and provide contact information. Explain your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder or law, and state that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.

We may ask for clarification, restrict or remove material while reviewing a complaint, and contact the submitter with relevant complaint details. If you believe a removal was mistaken, contact the same address with supporting information. Do not send passwords or unrelated sensitive documents. Impersonation and other rights concerns can also use Contact; gym corrections use Listing Support.

U.S. Copyright Office DMCA Designated Agent registration is pending and has not been completed. This copyright contact procedure is not a claim of completed federal designation or guaranteed safe-harbor protection. Registered-agent details will be added here if designation is completed.

Fighter shops and sponsorship inquiries

Existing direct official merchandise remains subject to the direct-order terms on this page. Fighter Partners may submit link-based Shop destinations subject to exact-host approval. Hostname approval is a security control, not an endorsement of every product or service on that website. If a profile links to an external official storefront, collection or individual product, the identified merchant controls its inventory, checkout, shipping, returns and support; MMA Gyms NJ is not automatically the seller.

Sponsorship inquiries may be reviewed and routed through MMA Gyms NJ to the relevant fighter or representative. An inquiry does not guarantee a reply, acceptance, representation or an agency relationship.

Review, removal and revocation

We may review, reject, correct, remove or restrict content, suspend publication, or revoke management access for inaccurate information, unauthorized media, malicious links, rights complaints, fraudulent claims or abuse. We do not promise to pre-screen every submission. Revoking a Gym or Fighter management grant can leave the account identity and public listing intact; account restrictions and content removal are separate decisions.

Events and account communications

Event listings aggregate information from official schedules, directory research and reviewed sources. Dates, venues and availability may change; verify details with the organizer or venue. MMA Gyms NJ is not the organizer unless expressly identified. Event corrections may be reported through Contact; no open promoter or seminar submission program is promised.

Account verification, recovery, access, security and support messages are operational communications. Optional newsletter marketing requires a separate subscription and can be unsubscribed from without disabling necessary account messages. See our Privacy Policy.

14. Intellectual Property and Business Names

Business and athlete names, images, likenesses, logos, trademarks, service marks, product names, and other brand elements appearing on this website remain the property of their respective owners or rights holders. Their appearance on MMA Gyms NJ is for identification, authorized publishing, or informational purposes and does not by itself imply affiliation, sponsorship, representation, or endorsement.

Merchandise expressly identified as an official athlete collection is offered under the applicable authorization. Purchasing an item transfers ownership of the physical item for personal use; it does not grant a right to reproduce or commercially use athlete names, images, artwork, logos, or other protected marks.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MMA Gyms NJ and its operators, affiliates, service providers, and contributors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or a merchandise order. For a direct merchandise claim, aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid for the affected order. This limitation does not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or legally protected product remedies.

16. Website Warranty Disclaimer

The website and general informational content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This website disclaimer does not waive nonwaivable warranties or statutory consumer protections that apply to direct merchandise sold by MMA Gyms NJ.

17. Listing Corrections and Removal Requests

If you believe a listing, fighter profile, event page, Community resource, blog page, guide, or Store page contains inaccurate information, or you are an athlete, manager, rights holder, or business representative seeking an update, correction, or removal request, please use the appropriate contact or structured support path. We may review such requests in good faith but are not obligated to make any particular change.

18. Governing Law

These Terms of Use and any dispute relating to MMA Gyms NJ shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles.

19. Changes to These Terms

MMA Gyms NJ may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Updated terms become effective when posted on this page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
